The event is designed as an informal ‘house party’ which includes a visit to Jane Austen's house museum at Chawton. The talks will explore Jane Austen's life, her work and her cultural world. We suggest that you read or re-read Emma and, if you have time, Persuasion. Arts in Residence offers an excellent cuisine including wine with dinner. We conclude with afternoon tea on Sunday.
