This is a typical example of an
ARTS-IN-RESIDENCE EVENT:-

English composers of the First World War
Hotel La Prieure, Rancourt, Somme
25th - 28th October 2011

THE HOTEL
The well-appointed Hôtel Le Prieuré at Rancourt,
located on the Bapaume-Péronne road, was our
location, and luxury coach transport was provided
from the U.K. and throughout the trip.

THE COURSE
This short trip to the Somme visited the
places where Vaughan Williams, Butterworth
and other composers served, while also
featuring their music associated
with the Great War.
